About the Founder

Dr. Ali Akbar is a Stratofa founder and a seasoned C-level executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. He specializes in corporate finance, investment strategy, business transformation, and regional expansion, supporting multinational corporations, conglomerates, and high-growth technology companies.

He began his professional career at a Big Four audit firm, where he served as an auditor before progressing through senior finance roles, ultimately holding positions ranging from Senior Accountant to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) across diverse domestic and regional industries. In 2011, he initiated Global Mobility Services (GMS) projects with several conglomerate groups in Myanmar and Indonesia, further strengthening his exposure to cross-border business and investment advisory.

Stratofa was created from a clear observation: young professionals need stronger preparation before entering the workplace, while entrepreneurs and growing businesses need clearer financial and strategic guidance to scale with resilience. Through Stratofa, Ali brings together two worlds: academy and advisory. The academy develops future talent, while the advisory practice supports business leaders. Together, they form a platform for learning, decision-making, growth, and regional collaboration.
